1997 RECON TANTO
Great knife, No wobble in the handle what so ever.Did not sharpen it for 3 or 4 years after I bought it. I've chopped and split wood, sharpened it and cut fillets with it. It's been my go blade since 1997. But I will send it in for a good sharpening though for a makeover......lol

It is impressive but it still has it's flaws
I bought this blade one year ago. this knife will hold up in any condition. you will never break the blade, EVER.you wont even damage its edge unless you clang two sharp blades together in a sword fight. then you may slighty ding its edge. my only problem is the grip. it ver very very minutely wobbles at the end,you wouldnt even notice it unless you looked for it. i am a perfectionist with guns and knives. anyway i called coldsteel they said ship it in they will fix it but i would have to waite 4 months on back order for that particular handle. anyway the blade is worth the cash. if you have the extra money get a real tantos around 200 bucks or so. they are way better than these!
